[Judai knew that people would find out that the shadow was caused by a monster. However much he had hoped that people would simply forget after the events that came with the lightning, people had gone above and beyond his expectations and done a proper investigation into both the drugs and machines that were used. While it was almost guaranteed that Noa and Amanda were not going to be identified, Judai knew that some of his seaweed had been caught in some of the generators when he was tuning it. Once they had narrowed it down to a monster with blue seaweed, it was easy to identify just who it was.

However, he knew he couldn't just run yet. He had to play it cool. He had to relax. He would run it was necessary... when he found people after him. For now though, he just walked casually and cooly, occasionally glancing around him as he continued through the evening.

No one would come for him, right?

He's on his guard...]

There is still much to do in light of what was found-whether because of significance, or failure to bring anything to light. He must plan, plan for something.... ....but for now there is nothing, and so he focuses on other matters.

[A promise was a promise, at least with regard to spending more time together after the chaos of everything settled down. Machine parts scattered, and thoughts back in order, Loki at least felt that they could maybe...actually enjoy themselves, a bit? The slime stretches-as much as a slime needs to stretch at least-and swoops about like the gliding pancake he is, canvasing Bavan and searching for the kelpie.

[When Stocke shows up at the park following their network conversation, he looks about as far from a shade as he can get. A human male, average height, brown hair, dark eyes - he's patched together features from a bunch of random passerby to get a concrete whole that looks human, but not a copy of anyone in particular. His clothes are native hand-me-downs, but that's also normal for a newbie - can't stay in the same outfit for weeks, right?]

[(Still, it's a good thing it's foggy out - he's deathly vulnerable to sunlight no matter his shape.)]

[As a consequence, he blends in pretty well with any other bystander wandering through the park. Of course, there's not many during fog... which means Judai might not be surprised to see the "human" raise an arm upon seeing him. See-through skin, there he is.]

[Stocke waits until he's closer before asking a quiet,] ...are you Haou?

[Useful things: Judai's never met him in person before now, so he has no reason to know Stocke's voice. Unlike his shape, Stocke can't change that so easily. He's still trying to hold it a little higher-pitched than usual, though, in case they do meet later - (and good thing, since turns out the Nest as a whole is going to come clean in a bit -)]

[Judai suspects absolutely nothing when he sees the stranger approach and is just idly lounging on his backpack, shuffling his deck of Duel Monsters cards. The man doesn't actually get up until he sees the other flag him over and he pushes himself up onto his legs. At seven foot, Judai's pretty tall and his lanky appearance may seem intimidating, but the grin he gives is friendly, even if a little unnerving since it literally splits his face open.]

Sometimes I wish I wasn't. But Judai is fine. No need to call me the Supreme King for everything.

[Judai extends a hand to Stocke.] Thanks for meeting me out here, buddy, especially during the fog. What's your name?

Judaiiii!, a friend sent me this, it seems really important!

There once was a boy who was a Halloween fanatic. He loved dressing up for Halloween, he loved pulling pranks and watching horror movies, and above everything else... he loved candy. One fateful year, while he went trick-or-treating, he visited a house. This house was creepy as hell! It was big, it was old, it smelled like a grandmother and it was owned by a happy, old rich couple. The boy came here thinking that he would be handed out big chocolate bars, because it was a rich person's house but when he knocked on their door... he was handed a bag of that shitty candy that nobody likes! Tootsie rolls, shitty flavoured dum-dums, those weird... peanut things... needless to say, the boy was heartbroken. He was so heartbroken that he died, right there on their porch and now, every Halloween he goes out and finds people to curse. He wants everyone to suffer the same way he did!

Everybody is already suffering from his curse!! Send this to ten people to break the curse, or to avoid getting cursed, or you'll be stuck looking freakier than usual for the rest of your life!!!!!!!!!!

Adorable or sad, you choose. Once Judai's message arrives that he's close, Fran sets a kettle to boil. To this day they still marvel at electricity!

Apparently, Were-Cassandra and Danny are dating, and Danny is determined to make it into the local university in the field of monsterology. Is that a real field of study, or is he just being himself? Either way, the cards inside thank Judai for making a personal appearance at their monthly meeting, and there is even a plush recreation of Judai himself, though it looks a bit goofy. ]

Hope ya don't mind, they wouldn't get off my back about sendin' ya something.

And monsterology... actually could be a really valuable field of study. If Judai actually cared about university studies, he absolutely would get involved. [ Having been around so long, it's perhaps not surprising that Fran was prepared for most things. So it's only inevitable when a man in a business suit appears before Judai, one simple letter held in his hand.

It's a quick affair, handing it over once confirming he's the correct person. Inside, curvy writing reads: ]

I was wondering if this day would come. If you've received this letter it means I'm no longer here, I guess it's time to figure out just what awaits those of us who disappear. Quite the adventure, no?

You and Majima are the only ones who can enter the treehouse without issue at the moment, so I've left it in both of your care. Ideally, it will go on to serve as a comfortable home to more new monsters over time.
